HM The Queen has signified Her intention of appointing Captain Peter Dixon Crabtree OBE to be a District Judge (Magistrates' Courts) with effect from 1 November 2005. Mr Crabtree will be based principally in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Notes to Editors

Mr Crabtree, 49, was called to Bar in July 1985. He has worked for the Royal Navy since 1979. He was appointed as a deputy District Judge (Magistrates' Courts) in 2003.
