Appointment of Chief Taxing Master Supreme Court Taxing Office

The Lord Chancellor, Lord Mackay of Clashfern, has decided to appoint Master Hurst to succeed Master Berkeley as Chief Taxing Master with effect from 11 January 1992.
Notes for Editors 1. Peter Thomas Hurst, 49, was admitted as a solicitor in 1967, and was appointed a Taxing Master in December 1981.
2. Frederic George Berkeley was appointed a Taxing Master in 1971, and has been Chief Taxing Master since June 1988.
