Legal Aid Advisory Committee - Appointment

The Lord Chancellor has appointed the Chief Taxing Master to his Advisory Committee on Legal Aid. The appointment took effect on 14th December 1983.
Chief Master Horne was admitted as a solicitor in 1938 and was a Taxing Master from 1967 until his appointment earlier this year as Chief Taxing Master.
Notes for Editors 1. The function of the Legal Aid Advisory Committee is to advise the Lord Chancellor on matters relating to legal aid in both civil and criminal cases and on the provision of legal services generally.
2. The Members of the Committee are:-
