Appointment of Chief Chancery Master

The Lord Chancellor, Lord Hailsham of St. Marylebone, has decided to appoint Master Chamberlain, TD to be Chief Master of the Chancery Division of the High Court with effect from 16 April 1985, in succession to Chief Master Heward CB who is retiring on 25 April 1985.
Master Chamberlain, who is a solicitor, took up office as a Chancery Master of the High Court on 7 April 1964.
